Alice has a Scottish Master’s in Philosophy (Hons.) from The University of Edinburgh, focussing on theories of feminism and racial discrimination. She is a practising artist – time permitting – and art admirer who frequently attends exhibitions, galleries, and open studios, and writes short reviews on them. Alice is particularly interested in visual arts that tell stories of marginalised people and groups, and art about current affairs and world issues.
Alice is very keen to broaden accessibility to the arts and creative industries for women and non-binary people, people of colour, and those who intersect with these and other marginalised identities. Alice currently works for an art and ecology charity and hopes to continue to write about art and create exhibitions in the future.
