Eve Goulden, Copywriter
Eve Goulden is an independent curator and researcher currently based in South London.
She intends to represent and promote working-class and underrepresented womxn artists through producing content for Agora.
She has a keen curatorial interest in online and virtual space as a site of exhibition, and seeks to explore these exhibition forms in relation to cultural democracy.
Through the development of her own artistic practice during her undergrad at The Glasgow School of Art, Eve developed a deep appreciation for New Media art. She began to research and write about the experience of encountering and interacting with artworks via a screen, with the concept of portals influencing much of her work. With the recent closure of physical exhibition spaces as a result of the pandemic driving the wider production of online exhibitions, she is keen to reflect on recent exhibition histories in the content she produces.
Eve has additionally been involved in research, mentoring and exhibition production within various galleries, most recently at 16 Nicholson Street, an artist-run space in Glasgow. Her involvement in DIY and community-based art projects reflects her interest in fostering inclusivity within the arts.
